A brand new assisted-living development from the country’s biggest retirement property builder reveals they are upping their game reports JANE SLADE
McCarthy & Stone’s new Platinum range of properties are designed to appeal to retirees seeking more space in a top location and this one in Dorset is set to be a stunner.
Horizons, a £20 million development in Dorset, is a dramatic shift from McCarthy & Stone’s typical urban schemes, with its design inspired by Sunseeker yachts which are built in Poole Harbour.
The modern building with wrap-around balconies is in the prime coastal location of Poole close to Poole Harbour, the town centre and fashionable Sandbanks.
The spacious apartments will offer park, harbour and sea views and the complex will also have a concierge, club lounge, restaurant, as well as a well-being suite and on-site care and support.
Some 57 one-and-two-bedroom apartments will be built for those over the age of 70 who may need extra care.
Building has started and reservations will be available from the autumn with first homeowners moving in in the spring. Watch this space for further news, or for more information click HERE
