The Audley Group has just bought the historic Headley Court near Leatherhead in Surrey, which it plans to convert into a retirement community.
The 23-acre site has most recently been home to The Help for Heroes Rehabilitation Complex which has now relocated to Stanford Hall in Lincolnshire.
The Jacobean-style Grade II-listed mansion and stables were completed in 1899 and, subject to planning, will be converted into an Integrated Retirement Community.
The village will comprise a number of homes, communal facilities, including health and wellness facilities, swimming pool and restaurant, incorporating the listed Mansion House and adjoining stables.

Audley owners buy homes on a 250-year lease with access to facilities and flexible care if needed.
