In fact, we were the first company to introduce the retirement village concept in the UK when we opened Elmbridge Village in Cranleigh, Surrey back in the 1980s.
Since then we have gone from strength to strength as the retirement-village lifestyle has gained popularity.

This could simply be help with cooking or cleaning, through to domiciliary care for those needing a little extra support in later life.
All our retirement villages have packed social calendars, comprising events mainly organised and run by the owners themselves, that people to dip in and out of and enjoy a fulfilling retirement. All our villages are pet friendly and are staffed by a team of warm, caring individuals.
We understand that what to do and where to live when you retire is one of the biggest decisions you will ever make and getting it right is essential.

What does the future hold?
While none of us have a crystal ball, future proofing for the years ahead is something we all have to consider. More and more of us are now trying to get ourselves organised and ready to deal with whatever the future may hold.
This makes moving to a retirement village with a care home or care services, a preferable option for many of us. Eight of our 14 villages have registered care homes, offering a wide range of services across the care spectrum (many including nursing, residential, dementia and respite).
Our other villages benefit from our own registered domiciliary care service, RV Care, enabling residents to remain in their own home and receive a level of care support that matches their needs.
Making a move to a retirement village is a decision for the long-term; knowing there is care support brings huge peace of mind for now and the years ahead.
