Locals in Basingstoke are invited to a Reservation event at McCarthy Stone’s Island View Retirement Living development on Friday 23 and Saturday 24 April
The free Reservation event takes place between 10am and 4pm at the sales office at the nearby development, Wayfarer Place on The Dean in New Alresford.
Attendees will need to book a private, one-to-one appointment with McCarthy Stone Sales Consultant, Julie Mansbridge, in advance in order to maintain social distancing and ensure everyone’s safety.
All those who attend will receive an information pack which contains a brochure, floor plans, prices, and service charges details of homes available at Island View.
Virtual appointments are also available.
Alternatively, you can book an appointment to see the team at Gascoigne-Pees on Winchester Street in Basingstoke.
Nicki Beswarick, Divisional Marketing Manager for McCarthy Stone Southern, said: “We have been truly overwhelmed by the fantastic response to our new Basingstoke development.
It’s fantastic to see so many people recognising the benefits of independent, low-maintenance living and who have subsequently started planning to live their retirement to the full at Island View.
“We have already experienced unprecedented levels of demand for these properties, with Phases One and Two selling out in record time, so I would urge interested purchasers to get in touch and book a one-to-one appointment as soon as possible.”
The one and two-bedroom apartments at the new Island View retirement community are currently under construction, with first homeowners expected to move in this summer.
Each home is designed to meet retirees’ needs, featuring spacious living areas, and high specification kitchens and bathrooms.
Selected apartments above ground floor level will also feature a balcony, and those at ground floor level will have a private patio area.
McCarthy Stone’s Retirement Living developments such as Island View are designed to provide the very best in independent living for the over 60s within a safe and secure environment.
The running of the development will be overseen by the House Manager, who will be available during office hours.
There will also be a 24-hour call system and a camera entry at the communal front entrance.
To ensure accessibility throughout, there will be lifts to all floors.
Prices at Island View currently start from £243,000 for a one-bedroom apartment and from £343,000 for a two-bedroom, for those who want to purchase outright.
Rental and part-buy part-rent options are also available.
More than nine out of 10 customers would recommend McCarthy Stone to a friend, ensuring it has received the full Five Star award for customer satisfaction from the Home Builders Federation for 16 years’ running.
McCarthy Stone is the only UK housebuilder of any size or type to achieve this accolade for 16 consecutive years, which is every year the awards have been run.
McCarthy Stone also received the Housebuilder Special Recognition Award 2020 for working hard to protect its customers – Covid-19 infection rates among homeowners and tenants are significantly below the national rate of infection across all age groups – and for innovation in the retirement sector.
