Golf lovers are being invited to invest in a quartershare of a hotel suite at the Royal Mougins Golf Resort, four miles from Cannes on the French Riviera.

Priced from €195,000 (approx £162,000), buyers will have 13-weeks use of one of the resort’s 29 designer suites at its four-star hotel and receive full family-golf membership (valid for a couple and children under 21). Membership includes full access to Royal Mougins’ 18-hole championship course, and Royal Spa.

All the hotel suites which measure 50 sq m, offer panoramic views of the golf course and the Esterel mountains and have a bedroom with king-size bed, bathroom with bath and shower, living room with sliding doors leading to a balcony and a small kitchen.

‘Quartershare’ owners will benefit from flexible use of their suite without the maintenance, taxes and condominium fees issues that usually accompany acquisition of a second property.

Located just 20 minutes from Nice airport, Royal Mougins is the French Riviera’s only golf resort. Voted ‘France’s Best Golf Hotel’ at the World Golf Awards in 2016 and 2017, the resort has established itself as one of France’s premier golfing venues; some €3m has been invested in the course alone.

Plans are progressing to privatise the club in 2019 by giving golf course access only to club members, their guests and hotel guests, making the ‘Quartershare’ option even more attractive.
